16° day: Keetmanshoop-Garub-Luderitz Until we do not arrive to Aus, the road that gives Keetmanshoop will lead to us to Luderitz... does not have nothing to see, but from there in then, cutting in nearly geometric way the desert of the Namib, us will surprise for its colors pastel. It arrives you to the trust of Garub, whose name means "the place that it does not exist", turned and after approximately 1 km and half of untarred you will find yourselves in means to a glade wind where it has been constructed a bathhouse in wood. From it is possible here to sight the legendary wild horses of the Namibia, the only wild horses of austral Africa. Along the road that go to Luderitz, when you meet a green small house (is the only one for which us it cannot be mistaken), you stop yourselves. 17° day: Luderitz Visit to the city is enough fast because, to part the main road, not even much rich one of storees, is indeed little from seeing. In order to enjoy the landscape to us, and considering that by now we are nearly joints to the end of our travel, we take one great decision: a "beautiful" lodge! The highest price for the namibiani standards, but we are in the Kalahari and we want have the better! We try to the famous Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Lodge, than also not being just to the center of the desert, offers deserving attractions decidedly, but it is taken of onslaught from the tour operator and not there is place. We reserve to the Kalahari Game Lodge (the address we do not give you), nearest the border. From the description it seems big place. In a spectacular scene small houses in straw to two beds with the bath attend us rigorously outside! The relationship quality-price is very bad. For which, also to cost to make the figure of the Italian usuals (but true that it is made to rub is not neither from Italians neither from namibiani, but from is only cleaved) we go back in machine and we head to the Auob Lodge (telephone 063/25010, email: auob@mweb.com.na) in Gochas locality that, for a decidedly inferior price, offers one quality and a treatment... decidedly advanced.
20° day: Kalahari The lodge it is found to the inside of an immense estate, for which we decide to explore it. In the morning we rent of the desert motorcycle with which it is possible to go itself some in turn for dunes. If of it you have the accasione you take advantage of it, because it is truly amusing to run about liberations for the desert! The afternoon instead is dedicated to the safari, therefore admires also one of the more spectacular sunsets of the Namibia. You remember yourselves to cover to you well, because hardly cove the sun makes truly cold.
21° day: Kalahari-Windhoek
In early morning we depart in order making return in understood them. The road even if is long is in optimal conditions for which us they would not have to be large problems. To approximately half road between Mariental and Windhoek, the Tropic of Capricorno passes. The exact point is marked from a trust and deserves one pause for one photo memory.
